13th December
A Week in Waterloo
…
In exactly one month from today – on Thursday 14 December (5-7pm) – we look forward to welcoming you to a special Festive Evening at the Waterloo Centre for Adult Education.
There will be several opportunities to get your hands on a Christmas gift, including – ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ’s annual Christmas show by jewellery students – and works by ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ printmakers and potmakers.
For the first time ever you’ll be able to buy a ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ gift voucher, redeemable against all of ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ’s short courses. Give the gift of learning: perfect for a significant other, and as a last-minute gift selection for friends and family.
If you fancy trying your hand at making your own gift, make sure you book a free place on our Japanese card making workshop (5pm).
If you’d simply like to enjoy the evening, do drop by to hear our Folk Choir perform throughout the evening and see our dance students strut their stuff.
You can even attend a performance (tickets available at £10 each) by our opera students, featuring works by Cavalli, Britten, Ravel, Strauss and Handel.
With mince pies, mulled wine and hot drinks to hand, it promises to be the perfect send-off into the festive season…
Click here for more information – no need to book, just drop in from 5-7pm on Thursday 14 December.
